Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing psychological services and support throughout the 2026–2027 school year. You will collaborate with educators, staff, and families to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and actively promote mental wellness across the school community. This contract role provides the opportunity to contribute beyond traditional testing, engaging in broader support responsibilities within assigned school buildings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification required; candidates willing to secure Michigan licensure quickly after offer are welcome
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, and supporting diverse student populations
  • Outstanding communication abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments, interpret testing results, and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Develop and implement data-driven intervention plans in partnership with educators and families
  • Provide consultation and support services for staff regarding student emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
  • Promote a positive mental health climate within assigned school buildings
  • Support crisis response and participate in staff training or school-wide initiatives as needed
  • Travel between 1-2 school buildings as assigned; in-person presence required on site

Role Details:

  • Full-time, contract opportunity (37.5 hours/week)
  • Serving one or two school buildings within a supportive, collaborative team of school psychologists
  • Commitment for the full 2026–2027 school year (August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027)
