Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required
  • Previous experience in K-12 school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to the area and work onsite
  • Open to both full-time (35 hours/week with 7-hour days) and part-time schedules, provided consistent full days can be committed
  • Ability to adapt to different caseloads, with efforts made to match assignments to your skills and preferences

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
