School Psychologist in Warren, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification required
• Proven experience working in school settings across a wide range of grade levels

• Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processes
• Competence in conducting thorough psychological and academic evaluations
• Understanding of current best practices in mental health counseling and behavior intervention

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify student needs and develop effective intervention strategies
• Lead comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students in PreK–12th grade
• Participate in and support the MTSS framework, helping develop and implement intervention plans
• Provide behavioral support and consult with staff on classroom management strategies
• Offer direct mental health counseling to students as determined by individual cases and needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions in accordance with state and district guidelines
