Shape the future of students across multiple grade levels as a licensed school psychologist for a contract position. In this role, you’ll engage with learners from Kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. As an integral resource for both students and staff, you’ll provide critical assessments and collaborate with educators to create positive outcomes throughout the school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active, valid school psychologist license
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in grades K–12
  • Competency in conducting psychological assessments and creating reports
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills for interacting with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Adaptability and empathy in a fast-paced, evolving school environment
  • Prior school-based or educational setting experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Support teachers with classroom strategies and behavioral management
  • Offer consultation to families regarding student progress and well-being
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive school environment across elementary, middle, and high school settings
