A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide support during the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, to May 26, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work closely with other psychologists in the district, primarily focusing on testing and supporting primary and elementary school students, with occasional interaction with students from Pre-K through grade 12.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, particularly with primary and elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with the special education process and IEP development
- Strong skills in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively communicate assessment findings and recommendations
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments, focusing mainly on younger student populations
- Support district psychologists by collaborating on case management and participating in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collect and interpret data to guide intervention planning
- Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and parents
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services and evaluations
- Serve as a member of multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being
