What we’re seeking:
- Valid MSDE school psychologist certification
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to manage a variable caseload (approximately 70 evaluations and counseling responsibilities)
- Familiarity with elementary and middle school populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills for participating in meetings (MTTS, IEP, 504)
- Comfortable with full-time, in-person work (37.5 hours/week)
- Previous school-based or child advocacy experience preferred
In this engaging role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Providing individual and group counseling services to support social-emotional growth
- Actively participating in MTTS, IEP, and 504 plan meetings as a collaborative team member
- Developing and recommending interventions to best support each learner’s unique needs
- Maintaining timely, compliant documentation and clear communication with staff and families
You’ll enjoy working a dedicated Monday through Friday schedule, with elementary hours from 8:15–3:45 and secondary from 7:30–3:00, providing consistency and balance. Technology support, including a provided laptop, ensures you’re equipped for success as you facilitate positive student outcomes in Elkton, MD and beyond.
