What You’ll Bring:
- Current Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Background in providing counseling within a school environment
- Familiarity with participating in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings
- Adaptability to fluctuating caseloads (typically around 70 annual evaluations plus counseling cases)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to work full-time, in-person, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students through comprehensive evaluations
- Participate actively in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings, offering expertise and guidance to school teams
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students on an ongoing basis
- Coordinate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
