What You’ll Bring:

  • Current Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification as a school psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
  • Background in providing counseling within a school environment
  • Familiarity with participating in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings
  • Adaptability to fluctuating caseloads (typically around 70 annual evaluations plus counseling cases)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to work full-time, in-person, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students through comprehensive evaluations
  • Participate actively in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings, offering expertise and guidance to school teams
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
