This full-time contract opportunity (approximately 39 hours per week) empowers you to make a direct impact through comprehensive evaluations, the facilitation of supportive meetings, and flexible student support, especially when school social work support is unavailable. The position runs during regular school hours, 7:45 am–3:15 pm, with extended hours until 4:45 pm on Wednesdays dedicated to meaningful professional development.

Your background in educational psychology will enable you to collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families, ensuring the emotional well-being and academic growth of students across all elementary and middle grade levels. Desired Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with K-8 student populations preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support meetings with parents and staff
  • Adaptability in situations requiring interim support for students when other resources are limited

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations for students as needed
  • Contributing insights during supportive meetings for individual and group cases
  • Providing direct student assistance in the absence of social work support
  • Documenting interventions, assessment results, and progress reports
  • Attending Wednesday professional development sessions to continue skill-building
