This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while delivering a blend of small group and individualized counseling services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with middle school students is strongly preferred
- Ability to coordinate and co-treat with multidisciplinary professionals, especially SLPs
- Skilled in providing individual and small group counseling
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and participating in team meetings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver counseling services to middle school students in both small group and individual settings
- Co-treat and collaborate on a small student caseload alongside the SLP
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write detailed reports
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies for student success
- Support students’ social and emotional needs through evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed
