This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while delivering a blend of small group and individualized counseling services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Experience working with middle school students is strongly preferred
  • Ability to coordinate and co-treat with multidisciplinary professionals, especially SLPs
  • Skilled in providing individual and small group counseling
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations and participating in team meetings
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver counseling services to middle school students in both small group and individual settings
  • Co-treat and collaborate on a small student caseload alongside the SLP
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write detailed reports
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies for student success
  • Support students’ social and emotional needs through evidence-based interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed
