Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Experience supporting the development and review of IEPs, and determining eligibility for special education services
- Strong skills in counseling, behavioral interventions, and student-centered consultation
- Capable of supporting intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working across multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual evaluations and assessments for students ages 3 to 21
- Provide support for IEP development, eligibility determination, and implementation
- Offer counseling services and behavioral supports as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service professionals
- Assist with student intervention strategies, crisis support, and data collection
- Engage in ongoing consultation and progress monitoring based on school and program needs
