Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification and/or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, IEP processes, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate, timely documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referrals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
- Advise teachers and staff on behavioral and instructional strategies
- Lead or participate in meetings with parents regarding student progress and recommendations
- Promote social-emotional wellness through prevention and early intervention programs
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
