We are searching for a passionate, experienced School Psychologist ready to provide essential support to a high school community through an onsite, full-time contract position. The assignment spans from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with the opportunity to extend for the remainder of the school year.
As part of this high school caseload, you’ll collaborate with faculty and staff as a trusted advisor and resource while conducting comprehensive evaluations and contributing to PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous school-based experience required, particularly in high school settings
- Expertise in evaluation administration and PPT reporting
- Ability to work effectively onsite, fostering relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable interviewing via Zoom
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments
- Prepare thorough documentation and participate in PPT meetings
- Collaborate closely with special education teams to develop intervention strategies
- Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic growth
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and families to enhance student success
This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, giving you stability and meaningful professional engagement throughout the school year.
