As a School Psychologist, you will work within a collaborative educational setting, dedicating 25 or 30 hours per week to making a lasting difference in students’ lives during the 26/27 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in school-based psychological services preferred
  • Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological and academic assessments
  • Ability to provide targeted counseling to support a diverse student population
  • Demonstrated understanding of special education evaluation procedures and relevant laws
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 25 comprehensive student evaluations per year, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
  • Deliver individual and small group counseling to support students’ mental health and academic achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret evaluation results and develop effective educational plans
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for intervention planning and progress monitoring
  • Offer consultative services and strategies to staff and parents to foster student well-being
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district policies
