Position Details:

• Full-time, contract positions (35 hours per week)
• Two openings available
  • One position extends through May 2027, with the potential for renewal.
  • A newly created role is available through March 30, 2027.
• Immediate start for both positions

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Connecticut is required.
• Direct experience providing psychological services in a school-based setting.
• Competency in evaluation administration and knowledge of PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for supporting K–12 students.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards within a diverse community.
• Onsite presence required; virtual interviews will be conducted via Zoom.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ educational, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Deliver thorough evaluation reports, participate actively in PPT meetings, and recommend effective interventions.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support the development of individualized education programs.
• Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and resilience.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing consultation as needed.
