Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a School Psychologist or Diagnostician in a dynamic educational environment. This onsite, contract opportunity offers the chance to work district-wide, making a positive impact on the academic and behavioral outcomes of students by providing comprehensive assessment and consultative services.

With an average caseload of 30-40 evaluations, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to design tailored interventions, support individualized education plans, and foster a thriving learning environment. As the selected candidate, your expertise will be pivotal in guiding students, staff, and administration in identifying and addressing learning and behavioral challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid NM PED School Psychologist License
  • Proven experience conducting student evaluations and developing reports
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between school sites as needed
  • Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
  • Provide direct interventions and support to students in need
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to design effective strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and monitor progress
  • Support school-wide initiatives to enhance student well-being and academic achievement
