Qualifications

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
• Knowledge of special education eligibility determination
• Strong understanding of:
  • Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE)
  • Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Positive behavioral supports and intervention strategies

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Prepare timely, accurate evaluation reports and documentation.
• Determine student eligibility for special education services in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate as an active member of IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop effective supports for students.
• Assist in developing behavioral interventions and recommendations to promote student success.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through data-driven decision-making.
