Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students during an important stage of their academic journey. This full-time contract position provides coverage for a School Psychologist on maternity leave, with a schedule running from August 24, 2026 to November 18, 2026. You’ll work with elementary-aged students, collaborating with educators and families to foster a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin School Psychologist Certification or a valid Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
  • Capacity to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to suit diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students
  • Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations to staff and families
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers and administrators regarding student behavior and academic progress
  • Deliver direct or indirect counseling and intervention services as needed
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Engage in meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
