Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current (or eligibility for) state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, IEP development, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and consultation skills
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity in school settings
- Prior experience in educational environments preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs, including cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students, families, and staff
- Support initiatives around positive behavior interventions, mental health awareness, and academic success
- Document and maintain accurate records compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines
