This contract position runs from August 19, 2026, through June 2, 2027, offering the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to promote academic, social, and emotional success. Working hours will reflect school schedules, with start and end times varying (e.g., Intermediate 8:20-3:55, Middle 7:40-3:15), and a weekly guarantee of 37.5 hours, subject to the school calendar.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience working with elementary/PreK-8th populations preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and assessment skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive environments
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and indirect psychological services to students
- Conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting evaluation data
- Supporting the development and implementation of intervention strategies
- Consulting with educators and families on student progress and behavioral supports
- Participating in IEP/504 meetings and contributing to team-based decision making
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to timelines and legal requirements
