Key Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous experience conducting comprehensive special education evaluations in a K–12 setting
- Strong knowledge of the IEP process and comfort facilitating IEP meetings
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 20 to 40 evaluations annually
Role Responsibilities
- Complete psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Facilitate and lead IEP meetings, ensuring all team members are supported and student needs are met
- Work closely with the MTSS team to provide consultation, recommendations, and support tiered interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop plans fostering student growth
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
