Discover a dynamic contract opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist passionate about supporting students’ success. Flexible scheduling is available with both part-time (20–24 hours/week) and full-time (37.5 hours/week) options during standard school hours from 8 am to 4 pm.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience conducting comprehensive special education evaluations in a K–12 setting
  • Strong knowledge of the IEP process and comfort facilitating IEP meetings
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload ranging from 20 to 40 evaluations annually

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for special education services
  • Facilitate and lead IEP meetings, ensuring all team members are supported and student needs are met
  • Work closely with the MTSS team to provide consultation, recommendations, and support tiered interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop plans fostering student growth
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
