Full-time positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students from early childhood through high school. These roles focus on re-evaluation review, eligibility meetings, functional behavioral assessments, and some initial evaluations, with further specifics shared during the interview process.
We’re seeking candidates who hold current licensure in Illinois and excel at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and a dedication to supporting students and families throughout the special education process.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings.
- Familiarity with special education law and best practices for evaluations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with families new to the special education process.
- Ability to attend and lead IEP meetings.
- Comfortable collaborating with general and special education staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and functional behavioral assessments.
- Manage re-evaluation reviews and eligibility determination meetings.
- Serve students from early childhood (ages 3-5) to high school, with flexibility to travel between early learning sites as needed.
- Facilitate MTSS data team meetings, participate in the problem-solving process, and support the IEP process.
- Maintain clear communication with families, educators, and support staff.
This contract offers a dynamic school setting with full-time schedules available (Monday-Friday) during the academic calendar noted above.
