We’re seeking candidates who hold current licensure in Illinois and excel at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and a dedication to supporting students and families throughout the special education process.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
• Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings.
• Familiarity with special education law and best practices for evaluations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with families new to the special education process.
• Ability to attend and lead IEP meetings.
• Comfortable collaborating with general and special education staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and functional behavioral assessments.
• Manage re-evaluation reviews and eligibility determination meetings.
• Serve students from early childhood (ages 3-5) to high school, with flexibility to travel between early learning sites as needed.
• Facilitate MTSS data team meetings, participate in the problem-solving process, and support the IEP process.
• Maintain clear communication with families, educators, and support staff.

This contract offers a dynamic school setting with full-time schedules available (Monday-Friday) during the academic calendar noted above.
