Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in working within schools at the elementary, middle, or high school level
- Familiarity with special education services, IEP/504 processes, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation expertise
- Commitment to ethically supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and functional behavior assessments
- Interpret assessment findings and present recommendations for educational planning
- Participate in eligibility determination, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation as needed
- Develop and implement individualized interventions targeting academic, social, or behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Advocate for inclusive, evidence-based practices to foster student growth and learning
