Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Prior experience in both early childhood and K-12 educational environments encouraged
- Proficiency with play-based assessment tools and techniques
- Strong background in conducting evaluations for students of varying ages and needs
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct play-based assessments for early childhood students to support developmentally appropriate interventions
- Perform comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for district students
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
- Interpret data and present findings to parents, educators, and support staff
- Advocate for students’ behavioral, emotional, and academic success by developing targeted strategies
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with state/federal guidelines
