Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Prior experience in high school settings or similar adolescent populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in special education
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and guardians
- Proven ability to manage and support a caseload of 14-25 students efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support compliance documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to promote academic and social-emotional growth
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with school and state requirements
