School Psychologist | Waukegan, Illinois

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting students across a variety of grade levels, including transition, in a collaborative and resourceful environment near Waukegan and Vernon Hills, IL. Starting as soon as possible and extending through May 28, 2026, this position offers a 37.5-hour workweek and the flexibility of one hybrid day, combining on-site testing with remote indirect services.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students of all ages, from elementary through transition programs
• Participate actively in team and parent meetings, facilitating effective communication and support planning
• Contribute to MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) initiatives as needed
• Focus primarily on administering a variety of assessments, with minimal ongoing caseload management
• Serve a diverse population across multiple schools, adapting approaches to individual student needs
• Document results, create thorough reports, and collaborate with educators and families to support optimal student outcomes

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist endorsement
• Experience in conducting a range of psychoeducational evaluations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for engaging with multidisciplinary teams and parents
• Familiarity with MTSS processes and interventions
• Comfort working with all age groups, including transition-age students
• The ability to manage responsibilities across several schools while prioritizing student well-being
