Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while enhancing your professional experience as a School Psychologist. This long-term contract opportunity, beginning in early August and extending through late May, offers the chance to work on-site and support a diverse student population across five campuses, primarily at the elementary level, with some involvement in middle school settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists required
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly valued
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills for Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), including ADHD
  • Familiarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services and comprehensive evaluations for students with a focus on AU, ED, and OHI
  • Conduct ADHD assessments and contribute to the development and monitoring of FBAs/BIPs
  • Travel between assigned campuses (primarily elementary, some middle school) to support student needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school staff, and families to inform individualized education plans
  • Offer consultative, direct, and indirect interventions to foster students’ academic and social-emotional development
