Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in K-12 academic settings
- In-depth understanding of educational evaluations, IEP process, and behavioral strategies
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability within diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Interpret assessment results, write comprehensive reports, and present findings to teams and parents
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual and group interventions for academic, behavioral, and social/emotional support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and risk assessments
- Provide consultative services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and best practices
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making processes and help design school-wide preventive initiatives
