Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid NY State School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Prior experience in school settings highly desirable
  • Proficiency in conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and comprehensive testing
  • Experience implementing and supporting MTSS systems
  • Strong skills in individual and group counseling for K-12 students
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Available for a full-time, onsite commitment (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psycho-educational assessments for students
  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Support the development and implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and intervention planning
