Starting in August 2026 and continuing through May 2027, you’ll work full-time within a thriving educational community, serving a school population of approximately 500 students in grades 6 through 8.

Desired Background and Experience

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience supporting middle school students (grades 6-8) is preferred
  • Solid foundation in educational assessments, behavior intervention, and counseling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Familiarity with special education processes and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write reports
  • Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Offer consultation and training for teachers related to student behavioral and learning challenges
  • Support the creation of a positive, inclusive school climate
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and work collaboratively to determine appropriate interventions
  • Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential student records
