Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience in administering cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Knowledge of IEP process and special education laws
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult with teachers, families, and administrators
• Proven ability to design and recommend interventions that foster student learning and well-being
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths
• Interpret assessment data to assist in eligibility determinations and educational planning
• Provide direct and indirect counseling to students, supporting their social-emotional development
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
• Offer consultation to staff regarding academic and behavioral interventions
• Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and contribute to district-wide initiatives for academic and behavioral support
• Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
