In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic educational team to promote student success, utilizing your skills in assessment, consultation, and intervention.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in administering cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Knowledge of IEP process and special education laws
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with teachers, families, and administrators
- Proven ability to design and recommend interventions that foster student learning and well-being
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Interpret assessment data to assist in eligibility determinations and educational planning
- Provide direct and indirect counseling to students, supporting their social-emotional development
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Offer consultation to staff regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and contribute to district-wide initiatives for academic and behavioral support
- Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
