This contract opportunity calls for experienced School Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychoeducational and counseling services for the academic year from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027. This is an onsite, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) designed to make a significant impact in the lives of students and their families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern, or a comparable combination of training and experience
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with psychoeducational testing and report writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presenting with confidence to diverse audiences
- Physical ability to operate office equipment and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and prepare detailed reports
- Deliver individual and group counseling and crisis intervention services
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and external agencies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and student support programs
- Analyze data, records, and behavioral observations to inform recommendations
- Adhere to all relevant policies, laws, and professional standards
- Contribute to in-service training for staff and parents
- Maintain detailed records and complete necessary documentation for Medicaid reimbursement
