School Psychologist - West Hartford, Connecticut

This role runs from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with the potential for extension through the end of the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Connecticut licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience providing psychological services within a school setting
• Proficiency in evaluation administration and preparation of PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports
• Ability to manage a diverse high school caseload with professionalism and care
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort working onsite and engaging directly with students and staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for high school students
• Prepare clear, detailed PPT reports and actively participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement student-centered interventions
• Provide consultative support to staff and families, ensuring a supportive learning environment
• Respond promptly to student needs, providing crisis intervention and support as necessary
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards
