School Psychologist - West Hartford, Connecticut

Step into a rewarding contract position as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to students and staff in a dynamic educational setting near West Hartford, CT. We are seeking two passionate professionals to join for full-time roles, each offering 35 hours per week onsite. The first opportunity is available for immediate start, with an assignment lasting through May 2027 and strong potential to extend through the remainder of the school year. The second is a brand new position beginning ASAP and continuing until March 30, 2027.

Your background in school-based psychology and expertise in evaluation administration will be instrumental in conducting assessments and contributing to PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values student well-being and educational success.

What You'll Need:

• Current, active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
• Demonstrated school-based experience
• Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and preparing PPT reports
• Ability to work onsite and support students across grade levels
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered professional practices
• Availability for a Zoom interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations and assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs
• Complete and present comprehensive PPT reports
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Contribute to intervention strategies, progress monitoring, and counseling when needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with requirements
