This is a full-time contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support grades 7-12, with a focus on comprehensive evaluations from now through June 2027. You’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with educators and families and play a vital role in advancing student success and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Connecticut
  • Experience conducting full psychoeducational evaluations (initial and re-evals)
  • Familiarity with middle and high school populations (grades 7-12 preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and relevant state/federal regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage a consistent evaluation caseload
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial and triennial evaluations; counseling duties not required
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret results and provide actionable recommendations
  • Prepare detailed, timely evaluation reports for individualized education program (IEP) teams
  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings regarding eligibility and services
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance timelines are met
