Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or ability to obtain required certification
  • Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessments
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop intervention strategies that promote positive student outcomes
  • Participate in the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide guidance and support
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
