This full-time, onsite opportunity is available for a dynamic professional to work with junior high school students in a supportive educational environment. The contract runs from ASAP through November 1, 2026, offering a clear schedule for planning and commitment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist licensure in Ohio is a must
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, especially working with junior high school students
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Ability to develop individualized educational and behavioral strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Adept at managing confidential information and sensitive situations with professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades 7-8
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
  • Provide direct counseling services to individuals and small groups as needed
  • Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Assist in creating a positive, inclusive school climate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and mental health support
