Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and implementing interventions for PreK-12 students
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to determine appropriate strategies and supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in eligibility determinations
- Provide consultation and support for behavioral, academic, and cognitive concerns
- Advocate for students’ emotional and mental well-being within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
