Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting assessments, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and implementing interventions for PreK-12 students
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to determine appropriate strategies and supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in eligibility determinations
  • Provide consultation and support for behavioral, academic, and cognitive concerns
  • Advocate for students’ emotional and mental well-being within the school setting
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
