Exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced school psychologist to support students and staff for the 2026–27 school year. This contract position, located near Westville, IL, requires dedication to a 35-hour workweek, beginning around August 18, 2026, and concluding near June 4, 2027. You’ll be instrumental in fostering positive educational experiences for students, with possible placement in either a junior high (grades 7–8) or elementary (grades K–4) setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience working as a school psychologist within educational settings
- Familiarity with IDEA and Illinois state rules and regulations
- Proficiency with MTSS processes and special education evaluation timelines
- Ability to manage manifestation determinations and facilitate IEP, 504, domain, EDC, and AR meetings with efficiency and accuracy
- Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, Domain Sheets (DS), and the MTSS framework
- Comfortable using assessment and system tools such as Q-global, FastBridge, and Google Docs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments and participate in designing individualized student plans
- Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student development and access to educational services
- Manage special education referral, assessment, and eligibility processes within mandated timelines
- Facilitate meetings, data collection, and reporting to comply with district and state requirements
- Provide consultative support on behavioral and academic interventions
