This full-time, on-site position runs from August through December, with the potential to continue into the next semester. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly desirable
- Expertise in educational and psychological testing for various grade levels
- Strong organizational skills to manage files and coordinate with multiple sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for testing
- Collaborate with educational teams to interpret assessment data and guide instructional planning
- Prepare detailed, professional evaluation reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites (all within the district) as scheduled
- Attend meetings as required to discuss evaluation results and recommendations
- Maintain clear records and schedules for student assessments
