Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Expertise in conducting student assessments, developing intervention plans, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and special education processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with educators, administrators, parents, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological evaluations and assessments of students to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
  • Implement, monitor, and review interventions and behavior support plans.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and staff in addressing academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to help shape student support strategies.
  • Serve as an advocate for student mental health and learning needs, providing direct support where appropriate.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
