Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and response-to-intervention (RTI) frameworks
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility and professionalism
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions to support student learning and behavior
  • Participate in multidisciplinary IEP and related meetings, contributing expertise on student needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ social-emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Consult with educators and families on best practices for student support and classroom management
  • Assist with crisis intervention, prevention, and response as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation, compliance with legal standards, and confidentiality
