We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to provide part-time services during the 2026-27 school year. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, working closely with students, faculty, and families. This contract position requires one day per week at a school in the greater Wilkes Barre, PA area.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • A valid and current certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation with staff and parents
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to create a supportive and confidential environment for students
  • Flexibility and a commitment to collaborative practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments and interpret results to assist with student evaluations and eligibility determinations
  • Develop and support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work with students individually and in groups to support social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school professionals to promote positive student outcomes
  • Provide guidance and resources to families regarding student progress and available supports
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in relevant meetings
