Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and proper state credentials
  • Experience with student evaluations, assessments, and related documentation
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads at either the elementary or secondary level
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Dedication to ethical standards and best practices in school psychology
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of students from diverse backgrounds

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for individual students
  • Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to students as needed
  • Document services and progress according to district and state guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise
  • Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and administrators
