School Psychologist | Williamsburg, Virginia

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ well-being in both a middle school and elementary environment. This full-time, contract position is ideal for school psychologists who excel in collaborative, student-centered settings. The assignment begins in early August—preferably August 3rd or August 10th—with the school year concluding by the second week of June. The schedule offers 37.5 hours per week, structured as 8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.

Your expertise will be central in providing psychological evaluations (approximately 60–80 per school year), delivering targeted counseling, and conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). This role emphasizes psych testing exclusively, with all educational testing managed by others, allowing you to focus on your area of specialization.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid School Psychologist certification
• Experience in K–8 settings preferred
• Proficiency with psychological evaluations (excluding educational testing)
• Strong skills in conducting FBAs and providing student counseling
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities

• Complete psychological assessments for students as referred
• Deliver direct counseling services in accordance with student IEPs or specific needs
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in intervention planning and implementation
