Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Skillful in administering a variety of psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong communication abilities for working with students, staff, and families
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a significant asset
  • Proficient at navigating and documenting within IEP processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Attend and actively participate in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Support the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and consultation to students as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation/testing records
