Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong background in counseling, consultation, and collaboration with students, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying school environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students, supporting their academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions and support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise for student success plans
- Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all required documentation complies with relevant guidelines and timelines
