School-based psychologists play a vital role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social success. This full-time, on-site opportunity allows you to work directly with early childhood through high school populations in a dynamic educational environment. You’ll join a dedicated team providing services across multiple age groups, and your expertise will be critical in performing psychoeducational assessments, contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with educators and families to address diverse student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware (DE) School Psychologist licensure is required
- Previous school-based experience, especially in evaluation/assessment and report writing
- Comfortable working with preschool, elementary, and high school students
- Proficiency in supporting IEP teams and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to coordinate services across multiple sites and grade levels
- Reliable transportation for on-site responsibilities
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting within the first days of assignment
- Strong professional communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for varied student populations
- Prepare concise, insightful reports that contribute to educational planning
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of student plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
- Address the needs of an Early Years Program and manage a diverse caseload
This is a contract position running from August 2026 through June 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours/week onsite (no remote or hybrid work). Microsoft Teams will be used for initial interviews.
