Step into an exciting opportunity as a school psychologist supporting elementary students during the 2026/27 school year. This contract role covers a leave from mid-December through mid/late March, ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and variety in their work setting. The position is based onsite near Wilmington, DE, with the added option for a hybrid schedule: three days per week onsite at an elementary campus and two days working remotely from home.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure required
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both colleagues and families
  • Familiarity with MTSS, IEP processes, and current best practices in school psychology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP and eligibility conferences
  • Deliver counseling and consultative services as needed to support student success
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster positive learning environments
