Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Passion for advocating for students’ needs and fostering positive outcomes

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being through counseling and evidence-based interventions
  • Participate as a key resource during student support meetings, contributing expert insights and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation in accordance with school guidelines
  • Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to students facing academic or personal challenges
  • Remain informed about best practices in school psychology and help implement new initiatives as required
