Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a school environment, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Passion for advocating for students’ needs and fostering positive outcomes
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being through counseling and evidence-based interventions
- Participate as a key resource during student support meetings, contributing expert insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, reports, and documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to students facing academic or personal challenges
- Remain informed about best practices in school psychology and help implement new initiatives as required
