As a valued school psychologist, you will play a vital role in the educational and emotional growth of elementary-age children. In this position, you’ll provide on-site support within an engaging elementary school setting and collaborate closely with staff, students, and families.

Requirements:

  • Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist in a school environment preferred
  • Ability to work onsite, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Understanding of best practices in assessment, intervention, and counseling for school-aged children
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting (candidate responsible for fee)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations and provide recommendations based on assessment results
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students, as needed
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support positive behavior strategies and student well-being initiatives
